Blogginess
Jul. 15th, 2008 10:06 pmTonight's update is about 2 gonzo blogs and 1 blog post about HST. I love scanning Consumerist and noticed a HST story on Deadspin.
The other two blogs are Martin Flynn's HSTBooks - somewhere in the sands of time I had an article by Martin in the article section, I should dig it out.
The other is Totally Gonzo, whose enthusiasm I admire. There's actually an HST birthday contest (it's July 18, don't forget). Prizes include a chance to windigital collection of Rolling Stone magazines. Check it out.

Gonzo Downunder: Greetings from Aotearoa
Date: 2008-07-23 07:35 pm (UTC)Gonzo has just played at the Auckland International Film Festival. Three screenings to a packed house in an 800 seat cinema.
There's a review over at my place, though hardcore fans be warned, I was disappointed. I thought Gibney killed off Thompson's genius about 30 years too soon.

Date: 2008-07-24 12:08 am (UTC)I hope I won't be disappointed. Perhaps our love for gonzo makes us a little blind. The movie will be coming to my neck of the woods soon! I wish they had published international playdates.
