It has only been in the past few years that I have become aware of how time passes. It's knowing how young 30 seems, when it seemed so old at 20. It's sighing at the mortgage statement which tells you how many years are left until the house is paid off. It's watching the clock every class night. It's also realizing what a void is left when a favourite author departs. Three years! It seems like yesterday.
